Unable to contribute financially? That’s okay! About the Centre for Young Parents

Formerly known as the Pregnant & Parenting Teen Program, the Centre for Young Parents has been providing individual and educational support to young parents and their families for 40 years. As the needs of the Grande Prairie area evolve, our programs continue to grow, offering support to young mothers and fathers through multiple group programs and free, drop-in childcare. We provide free, non-judgmental, confidential, and continued support to anyone under the age of 21 in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas who may become pregnant, are pregnant, or are parenting—up until their child turns six years old. Regardless of religion, spirituality, race, or ability, we support all young families in their journey. With the right support, young families can build positive futures for themselves and their children—but we can’t do it alone. We need your help to continue providing for these families.
